On behalf of the scientific committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to Interlaken for the
Joint annual meeting 2018 of the Swiss Societies for Infectious Diseases (SSI), Hospital Hygiene (SSHH), Tropical Medicine and Parasitology (SSTMP) and Tropical and Travel Medicine (SSTTM).
The congress will take place in the Congress Centre Kursaal Interlaken from Thursday,
September 13 to Friday, September 14, 2018.
The scientific committee with representatives of the four societies has intensively collaborated to prepare an outstanding and comprehensive program with joint lectures, interactive discussions and abstract presentations. The meeting will offer you the opportunity for a close exchange and communication on important topics in the field of infectious diseases, infection control, parasitology and tropical medicine.
The meeting will pay particular attention to the following topics:
- Clinical public health
- Musculoskeletal infections
- Endovascular infections
- Novel antibiotic therapies and strategies
- Hepatitis B/C
- Pediatric infectious diseases
- Influenza infection control
Besides the scientific parts, the congress also provides ample space to visit the industrial exhibition, to extend your professional network and to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with colleagues and friends.
